Dr. O’Flynn offers free trial lessons for students interested in studying clarinet at UVU. To schedule your lesson, simply email jeffrey.oflynn@uvu.edu.

Students located on the Wasatch Front (Utah, USA) may have lessons on UVU’s main campus. Directions will be emailed when your lesson time is confirmed. If you’re too far to make a convenient trip to campus, trail lessons can easily be held by video conference (Skype, etc.).

Dr. O’Flynn’s students have found success as performers, educators, and musicians across the US and abroad. His pedagogy focuses on developing complete musicians whose technique serves their musical voice. Students work on flexibility, facility, and creativity while studying music from a huge range of styles including contemporary “classical,” classical, romantic, 20th century, Klezmer, jazz, and more.

UVU clarinetists receive weekly lessons with Dr. O’Flynn. Each session is tailored to the student’s particular needs.
